Citizenship/ 2nd passport

Recently, certain countries have begun to market the Sale of Nationality to wealthy individuals who wish to have a 2nd passport to permit them to travel globally without interference of political problems. You are granted a passport quickly. Many times you are not even required to reside in that country or speak the language.

Requirements: You may be required to invest in a local Government bank account or purchase a property of a minimum value in a country such as the Dominican Republic; St. Kitts and Nevis or the most recent hot spot St Lucia - other more attractive countries include Malta, Portugal and Cyprus since they are in the European Union allowing you free movement between all 28 other European countries.

Global movement A Second Passport has been especially practical for Russian Republics, Middle Eastern and other nationalities with restricted entry into European Union, conflicting political countries and South America. With a Second Passport, you can enter most European Union and Middle Eastern and South American countries without a Visa and without any invitation letters.

Tax Benefits: Most Western countries are very unattractive to wealthy individuals since they promote the highest tax legislation. However, a national with dual nationality or two passports and tax advice may be able to reduce or even eliminate his taxes. Nearly all high-tax countries have tax exemptions for non domicile residents who reside for less than 180 days a year in the country or do not have a central life presence. By carrying a second passport a wealthy individual could continue to live in a high-tax country nearly half the year and remain tax-free as a non domicile.
